Four clear stages

How It Works

A straightforward local workflow for preparing records, reviewing distribution, and maintaining personal reports.

API Process Base turns an existing set of portfolio records into an organised analytical view. The workflow remains local and informational from beginning to end.

1. Prepare your information

Begin with portfolio information that is already available to you and suitable for the application’s supported Binance-compatible record structure. Review the source first and avoid including credentials, private keys, or other information unrelated to analytical record-keeping.

The software does not sign in to a financial account, connect to a wallet, or retrieve assets. You remain responsible for choosing and preparing the records you work with.

2. Organise the records

Place entries into a consistent structure and reporting period. Clear labels and categories make it easier to identify incomplete items, reduce duplication, and preserve context about when a record was created.

Organisation changes how information is presented; it does not change any asset or source account.

3. Review the analysis

Use distribution summaries to examine how categories compare within the supplied data. Historical views can help you see differences between saved reporting periods, while concise totals support quick personal review.

These outputs are descriptive. They do not forecast performance, assess suitability, or tell you what action to take.

4. Maintain local reports

Keep the resulting summaries as part of your personal record-keeping process. Repeat the workflow when new source information is available and retain previous periods when historical context is useful.

Important boundary: No stage of this workflow transfers cryptocurrency, processes payment, executes a trade, or gives API Process Base custody of an asset.

Good record-keeping habits

  • Confirm that source records are complete before analysing them.
  • Use consistent category names between reporting periods.
  • Record the date and context of each snapshot.
  • Check important figures against their original source.
  • Treat summaries as informational material, not financial guidance.

API Process Base provides the structure for this process while leaving source verification and interpretation with the user.
